If you're dedecorating, or simply wanting to make your home or office more livable, a few well-chosen candles are a worthwhile investment. You might not use them everyday, but they look beautiful and add to the ambience of a room whether or not they are lit.

Candles come in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes, so when it comes to shopping for candles, you're spoilt for choice! Be sure to buy from an Australian manufacturer, and choose candles that are non-toxic, as these will be better for your health. Candles made from soy-based wax are a great idea. Finally, make sure you spend a little extra and get a nice fragrance. Cheap and nasty candles rarely come with a nice fragrance, or quite often come with a fragrance that doesn't last as long as you'd expect.
